WALKTHROUGH PROCESS
Here’s what to expect when you arrive at your appointment:
1) Our piercer, Charlie, will come and greet you downstairs before getting you to sign a consent form (the boring but super important bit!)
2) After we have all the info we need, you get to choose your jewellery! Your standard jewellery is included in the price of your piercing, but if you fancy something special we have a great range for you to choose from, including sparkly upgrades from just £3.50.
3) Now it’s time to head upstairs! Charlie will bring you into our studio, where you can grab a stim toy to squeeze or fiddle with while you’re being pierced. Feel free to bring someone with you if you’re needing a bit of moral support!
4) Charlie will then clean the site of your piercing and talk through the recommended aftercare with you. This is also a great time to ask any questions you have. Your piercing placement then gets marked, with plenty of opportunity to re-mark it until you’re 100% happy!
5) Once you’re happy with the placement, Charlie will talk through the piercing process with you. When you’re ready, they will pop some clamps lightly on the area, get you to take a big breath in and pierce you while you breathe out. This part is super quick, and lots of people are surprised by how much less painful it is than they were expecting!
6) You did it! Charlie will finish installing your jewellery in your piercing before you get to check it out in the mirror. They will then give you a bottle of saline solution and aftercare information sheet for you, before asking if you have any final questions. Grab a sweet and a sticker, and you’re all done!
